WHEN & WHERE

The 2025 European Congress will be held at Churchill College, Cambridge, UK on the 5th and 6th September 2025

 

Congress Venue: Churchill College, Storey’s Way, Cambridge CB3 0DS, United Kingdom

Churchill College is in the west of Cambridge, with parking available.

Congress Dinner (Friday, 5 September) will be held at the beautiful, traditional Corpus Christi College, (pictured) Trumpington St, Cambridge CB2 1RH

• Congress Dinner must be booked separately once booking opens.

Accommodation is not included in the congress fee, and must be arranged & booked by delegates (incl. speakers) themselves

 

Churchill College has single and double rooms, some with shared bathroom, some ensuite. All including breakfast, and facilities in the bedrooms include tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries and free Wi-Fi.

Airports for Cambridge:

  • Stansted (nearest)
    Train: direct link, 30 minutes, running 1-2x per hour, about £20 return
    National Express Coach, 50 minutes
  • Luton
    National Express Coach: 1h30m, infrequent direct connection
    Train: via London, about 1h40m minutes
  • London Heathrow
    Train: via London Kings Cross, 2h, about £90 return
  • London Gatwick
    Train: some direct links, others via central London, 2 hours, about £60 return
  • London City
    Train: via London Kings Cross, 1h40m, about £55 return

Train to Cambridge:

There are two train stations: Cambridge (main) and Cambridge North (for regional connections)

From London, trains depart from Kings Cross or Liverpool Street, and occasionally St Pancras International

Eurostar comes into London St Pancras (which is a short walk to Kings Cross station for onward train connection to Cambridge)

To Churchill College from Cambridge Railway Station:

Taxi is probably the most convenient way.
Several busses stop at end of Storey’s Way on Madingley Road (A1303), but only some pick up at the railway station (others only from main bus station on Drummer Street).
